In the Old Master Paintings and Sculpture auction, the work A pastoral landscape with a shepherd reclining, a fortified city beyond sold for USD 37,500.00 (€ 33,617.21) - well above the upper estimate of USD 20,000.00. Admittedly, works by Gaspard Dughet have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A wooded landscape with figures by a river in April 2007 with an auction result of USD 324,000.00 (€ 237,188.87).
