The price achieved of USD 221,000.00 (€ 162,023.46) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 150,000.00 – 250,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Nellie Kabel is the most expensive artwork by Gari Melchers that we have observed at auctions so far.
