A top price for Gari Melchers - as previously expected
The work Nellie Kabel by Gari Melchers was sold in the American Art auction at Christies in New York in May 2014. The price achieved of USD 221,000.00 (€ 162,023.46) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 150,000.00 – 250,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Nellie Kabel is the most expensive artwork by Gari Melchers that we have observed at auctions so far.

Die Arbeit Nellie Kabel von Gari Melchers wurde im Mai 2014 in der Auktion American Art bei Christies in New York versteigert.
