A top price for Gao Yong
The work Running Script Calligraphy by Gao Yong was sold in the Fine Chinese Classical Paintings and Calligraphy auction at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2015. It achieved a price of HKD 62,500.00 (€ 7,633.50), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 25%. With this result, Running Script Calligraphy is even the most expensive work of art by Gao Yong that we have observed at auctions so far.
