The auction ended at the price of HKD 250,000.00 (€ 28,612.43), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of HKD 150,000.00 – 250,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Gao Qipei achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Fish in May 2019 with an auction result of HKD 5,165,000.00 (€ 591,132.84).
