Auction result well in line with expectations
In July last year POLY in Hong Kong held the auction Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy, which included the work Flowers And Birds by Gao Qipei. It changed hands for a price of HKD 144,000.00 (€ 17,968.24) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 80,000.00 – 150,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Gao Qipei achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Fish in May 2019 with an auction result of HKD 5,165,000.00 (€ 591,132.84).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juli letzten Jahres führte POLY in Hong Kong die Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy durch, in der auch die Arbeit Flowers And Birds von Gao Qipei zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 144.000,00 (€ 17.968,24) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 80.000,00 – 150.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Gao Qipei erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Fish im Mai 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 5.165.000,00 (€ 591.132,84).
