In May 2018 POLY held the auction The Beauty of Brushes – A Selection of Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy 4, which included the work Landscape by Gao Qipei. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 7,080.00 (€ 773.52), 42% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Gao Qipei achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Fish in May 2019 with an auction result of HKD 5,165,000.00 (€ 591,132.84).

Im Mai 2018 führte POLY die Auktion The Beauty of Brushes – A Selection of Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy 4 durch, in der auch die Arbeit Landscape von Gao Qipei zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 7.080,00 (€ 773,52) und damit 42% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Gao Qipei erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Fish im Mai 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 5.165.000,00 (€ 591.132,84).
