The work Maiden After Qiu Ying by Gai Qi was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2018. It achieved a price of HKD 50,000.00 (€ 5,630.07), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 25%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Gai Qi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work literati elegant gathering in October 2021 with an auction result of HKD 1,197,000.00 (€ 133,149.67).

Die Arbeit Maiden After Qiu Ying von Gai Qi kam im Oktober 2018 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 50.000,00 (€ 5.630,07) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 25%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Gai Qi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit literati elegant gathering im Oktober 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.197.000,00 (€ 133.149,67).
