Auction result well in line with expectations
In April last year Phillips in London held the auction New Now, which included the work Woman with Cigar by GaHee Park. The price achieved of GBP 5,040.00 (€ 6,010.02) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by GaHee Park achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Still Life with Fish in March last year with an auction result of USD 126,000.00 (€ 113,585.14).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April letzten Jahres führte Phillips in London die Auktion New Now durch, in der auch die Arbeit Woman with Cigar von GaHee Park zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 5.040,00 (€ 6.010,02) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von GaHee Park erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Still Life with Fish im März letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 126.000,00 (€ 113.585,14).
