The work Swamp Love by GaHee Park was sold in the 20th Century & Contemporary Art Day Sale, Afternoon Session auction at Phillips in New York in May this year. It achieved a price of USD 57,150.00 (€ 53,641.82), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 63%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by GaHee Park - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Still Life with Fish, which sold at auction in March last year for USD 126,000.00 (€ 113,585.14).

Die Arbeit Swamp Love von GaHee Park wurde im Mai diesen Jahres in der Auktion 20th Century & Contemporary Art Day Sale, Afternoon Session bei Phillips in New York versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 57.150,00 (€ 53.641,82) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 63%. Für andere Arbeiten von GaHee Park mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Still Life with Fish beobachtet, die im März letzten Jahres für USD 126.000,00 (€ 113.585,14) versteigert wurde.
