Auction result misses estimated price range
In November 2013 a collector was able to acquire the work Light Form Script by Feng Mingqiu for HKD 15,000.00 (€ 1,422.17). This price was achieved in the auction A Special Selection of Asian 20th Century & Contemporary Art (Day Sale) at Christies in Hong Kong and was even below the estimate range of HKD 20,000.00 – 30,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Feng Mingqiu achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Light Form Script: Heart Sutra (Two Works) in April 2015 with an auction result of HKD 137,500.00 (€ 15,890.97).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im November 2013 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Light Form Script von Feng Mingqiu für HKD 15.000,00 (€ 1.422,17) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion A Special Selection of Asian 20th Century & Contemporary Art (Day Sale) bei Christies in Hong Kong erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 20.000,00 – 30.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Feng Mingqiu erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Light Form Script: Heart Sutra (Two Works) im April 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 137.500,00 (€ 15.890,97).
