Auction result misses estimated price range
In April 2017 a collector was able to acquire the work Interlude In Time - Border Script by Feng Mingqiu for HKD 52,500.00 (€ 6,196.88). This price was achieved in the auction Contemporary Ink Art at Sothebys in Hong Kong and was even below the estimate range of HKD 60,000.00 – 120,000.00 set by the auction house. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Feng Mingqiu - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Light Form Script: Heart Sutra (Two Works), which sold at auction in April 2015 for HKD 137,500.00 (€ 15,890.97).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im April 2017 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Interlude In Time - Border Script von Feng Mingqiu für HKD 52.500,00 (€ 6.196,88) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Contemporary Ink Art bei Sothebys in Hong Kong erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 60.000,00 – 120.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Feng Mingqiu mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Light Form Script: Heart Sutra (Two Works) beobachtet, die im April 2015 für HKD 137.500,00 (€ 15.890,97) versteigert wurde.
