Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Long Sky Above Autumn Water - White Script by Feng Mingqiu was sold in the Contemporary Ink Art auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2017. The price achieved of HKD 37,500.00 (€ 4,426.34) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Feng Mingqiu - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Light Form Script: Heart Sutra (Two Works), which sold at auction in April 2015 for HKD 137,500.00 (€ 15,890.97).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Long Sky Above Autumn Water - White Script von Feng Mingqiu wurde im April 2017 in der Auktion Contemporary Ink Art bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 37.500,00 (€ 4.426,34) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 30.000,00 – 50.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Feng Mingqiu mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Light Form Script: Heart Sutra (Two Works) beobachtet, die im April 2015 für HKD 137.500,00 (€ 15.890,97) versteigert wurde.
