Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Feng Mingqiu achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2016. In the Contemporary Asian Art auction, the work Light Form Script sold for HKD 47,500.00 (€ 5,589.76) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 20,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Feng Mingqiu - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Light Form Script: Heart Sutra (Two Works), which sold at auction in April 2015 for HKD 137,500.00 (€ 15,890.97).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Feng Mingqiu erzielte im Oktober 2016 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Contemporary Asian Art wurde die Arbeit Light Form Script für HKD 47.500,00 (€ 5.589,76) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 20.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Feng Mingqiu mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Light Form Script: Heart Sutra (Two Works) beobachtet, die im April 2015 für HKD 137.500,00 (€ 15.890,97) versteigert wurde.
