Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Feng Mingqiu achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2016. In the Contemporary Asian Art auction, the work Shadow Script sold for HKD 125,000.00 (€ 14,083.12) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 50,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Feng Mingqiu; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Light Form Script: Heart Sutra (Two Works) sold at auction in April 2015 with the realized price of HKD 137,500.00 (€ 15,890.97).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Feng Mingqiu erzielte im April 2016 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Contemporary Asian Art wurde die Arbeit Shadow Script für HKD 125.000,00 (€ 14.083,12) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 50.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Feng Mingqiu; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Light Form Script: Heart Sutra (Two Works) im April 2015 mit dem Hammerpreis von HKD 137.500,00 (€ 15.890,97).
