Artwork auctioned at three times the upper estimate price
The work Let forever be delayed by Friedrich Kunath was worth GBP 50,400.00 (€ 60,186.55) to a buyer in July last year. This price was achieved in the auction First Open: Post-War and Contemporary Art Online at Christies in London and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of GBP 15,000.00 many times over. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Friedrich Kunath; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot My Fault Your Fault sold at auction in May 2015 with the realized price of USD 118,750.00 (€ 108,013.46).
