In July 2016 Christies in New York held the auction Living With Art, which included the work Tide Pools, Cancale by Frederick McDuff. The »bidding war« ended at USD 2,750.00 (€ 2,462.39), 53% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Frederick McDuff - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Figures with cabanas at the beach, which sold at auction in July 2016 for USD 10,000.00 (€ 8,954.15).

Im Juli 2016 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Living With Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Tide Pools, Cancale von Frederick McDuff zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 2.750,00 (€ 2.462,39) und damit 53% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Frederick McDuff mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Figures with cabanas at the beach beobachtet, die im Juli 2016 für USD 10.000,00 (€ 8.954,15) versteigert wurde.
