In August 2013 Christies in New York held the auction Interiors, which included the work Figures On A Beach; And A Companion Painting by Frederick McDuff. The »bidding war« ended at USD 4,750.00 (€ 3,599.58), 58% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Frederick McDuff - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Figures with cabanas at the beach, which sold at auction in July 2016 for USD 10,000.00 (€ 8,954.15).

Im August 2013 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Interiors durch, in der auch die Arbeit Figures On A Beach; And A Companion Painting von Frederick McDuff zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 4.750,00 (€ 3.599,58) und damit 58% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Frederick McDuff mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Figures with cabanas at the beach beobachtet, die im Juli 2016 für USD 10.000,00 (€ 8.954,15) versteigert wurde.
