The result of CAD 30,000.00 (€ 21,540.07) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of CAD 30,000.00 – 40,000.00. Admittedly, works by Frederick Horsman Varley have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A Mountain Road Through Lynn Valley, B.C. in November 2010 with an auction result of CAD 232,500.00 (€ 173,715.10).
