Admittedly, works by Frederick H. Evans have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work 'A Sea Of Steps', Wells Cathedral, Steps To Chapter House, 1903 in October 2013 with an auction result of USD 233,000.00 (€ 171,399.15).

Die Arbeit Height and Light in Bourges Cathedral, 1900 von Frederick H. Evans wurde im April 2017 in der Auktion Portrait of a Collector: The John M. Bransten Collection of Photographs bei Christies in New York versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 21.250,00 (€ 19.504,36) und damit 42% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Frederick H.
