This artwork by Frederick Edward McWilliam achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in London in June 2017. In the Modern & Post-War British Art auction, the work Study Father And Daughter sold for GBP 25,000.00 (€ 28,470.34) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 12,000.00. Admittedly, works by Frederick Edward McWilliam have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Woodhenge in June 2018 with an auction result of GBP 224,750.00 (€ 254,005.80).
