In the British, Victorian and Scottish Pictures including Pictures auction, the work An Autumn pastoral sold for GBP 2,937.50 (€ 4,802.04) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 1,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Frederick Cayley Robinson achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work British study For Twilight in May 2013 with an auction result of USD 68,750.00 (€ 52,933.48).
