This artwork by Frederick Cayley Robinson achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in September 2021. In the An Aesthetic Odyssey: The Peter Rose and Albert Gallichan Collection auction, the work Study For 'The Lost Child' sold for GBP 13,750.00 (€ 15,998.32) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 5,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Frederick Cayley Robinson - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work British study For Twilight, which sold at auction in May 2013 for USD 68,750.00 (€ 52,933.48).

In der Auktion An Aesthetic Odyssey: The Peter Rose and Albert Gallichan Collection wurde die Arbeit Study For 'The Lost Child' für GBP 13.750,00 (€ 15.998,32) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 5.000,00.
