In the Victorian, Pre-Raphaelite & British Impressionist Art auction, the work Study For One Of The Acts Of Mercy Murals At Middlesex Hospital, London sold for GBP 16,250.00 (€ 19,205.60) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 6,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Frederick Cayley Robinson - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work British study For Twilight, which sold at auction in May 2013 for USD 68,750.00 (€ 52,933.48).
