Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2013 Sothebys in New York held the auction 19th Century European Art, which included the work British the Little Child Found by Frederick Cayley Robinson. The price achieved of USD 6,250.00 (€ 4,593.56) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Frederick Cayley Robinson achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work British study For Twilight in May 2013 with an auction result of USD 68,750.00 (€ 52,933.48).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2013 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion 19th Century European Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit British the Little Child Found von Frederick Cayley Robinson zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 6.250,00 (€ 4.593,56) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 5.000,00 – 7.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Frederick Cayley Robinson erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit British study For Twilight im Mai 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 68.750,00 (€ 52.933,48).
