Auction result misses estimated price range
In March 2019 a collector was able to acquire the work Girl At Piano by Frederick Carl Frieseke for USD 15,000.00 (€ 13,359.46). This price was achieved in the auction American Art at Sothebys in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 20,000.00 – 30,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Frederick Carl Frieseke achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Garden in November 2016 with an auction result of USD 2,407,500.00 (€ 2,275,950.09).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im März 2019 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Girl At Piano von Frederick Carl Frieseke für USD 15.000,00 (€ 13.359,46) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion American Art bei Sothebys in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 20.000,00 – 30.000,00. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Garden im November 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 2.407.500,00 (€ 2.275.950,09).
