The work The Garden by Frederick Carl Frieseke was auctioned at Christies in New York in November 2016. It changed hands for a price of USD 2,407,500.00 (€ 2,275,950.09) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 1,500,000.00 – 2,500,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, The Garden is the most expensive artwork by Frederick Carl Frieseke that we have observed at auctions so far.
