Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Sun Spots by Frederick Carl Frieseke was sold in the American Art auction at Bonhams in Los Angeles in November this year. The price achieved of USD 57,600.00 (€ 52,805.28) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 50,000.00 – 70,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Frederick Carl Frieseke achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Garden in November 2016 with an auction result of USD 2,407,500.00 (€ 2,275,950.09).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Sun Spots von Frederick Carl Frieseke wurde im November diesen Jahres in der Auktion American Art bei Bonhams in Los Angeles versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 57.600,00 (€ 52.805,28) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 50.000,00 – 70.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Frederick Carl Frieseke erzielen.
