Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In November 2017 Christies in New York held the auction Post-War & Contemporary Art Afternoon Session, which included the work Mark by Fred Wilson. Here, the upper estimate of USD 60,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 62,500.00 (€ 52,529.84). Other works by Fred Wilson have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of USD 118,750.00 (€ 91,430.55) in May 2013 for the work Bat.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im November 2017 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Post-War & Contemporary Art Afternoon Session durch, in der auch die Arbeit Mark von Fred Wilson zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 60.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 62.500,00 (€ 52.529,84) einen neuen Besitzer. Andere Arbeiten von Fred Wilson haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von USD 118.750,00 (€ 91.430,55) im Mai 2013 für die Arbeit Bat beobachtet.
