In October 2020 Phillips in an online auction held the auction Editions Contemporary: Online Auction, which included this untitled work by Fred Tomaselli. The »bidding war« ended at USD 1,063.00 (€ 912.68), 52% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Fred Tomaselli achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Organism in October 2012 with an auction result of GBP 735,650.00 (€ 914,651.73).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 52 % übertroffen
Im Oktober 2020 führte Phillips in einer Online-Auktion die Auktion Editions Contemporary: Online Auction durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Fred Tomaselli zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 1.063,00 (€ 912,68) und damit 52% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Fred Tomaselli erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Organism im Oktober 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 735.650,00 (€ 914.651,73).
