Both signed, dated and numbered 35/35 in pencil (there were also 10 in Roman numerals), published by Edition Heiner Friedrich, Munich, both framed.

Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Untitled; and Untitled (J. 74 & 75) by Fred Sandback was sold in the Editions & Works on Paper auction at Phillips in New York in February this year. It achieved a price of USD 3,528.00 (€ 3,327.67), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 18%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Fred Sandback achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Broadway Boogie Woogie (Sculptural Study, Twenty-two part Vertical Construction) in May 2015 with an auction result of USD 545,000.00 (€ 495,724.94).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Untitled; and Untitled (J. 74 & 75) von Fred Sandback wurde im Februar diesen Jahres in der Auktion Editions & Works on Paper bei Phillips in New York versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 3.528,00 (€ 3.327,67) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 18%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Fred Sandback erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Broadway Boogie Woogie (Sculptural Study, Twenty-two part Vertical Construction) im Mai 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 545.000,00 (€ 495.724,94).
