The work Untitled, 1987 by Fred Sandback was worth CHF 30,000.00 (€ 28,215.65) to a buyer in June 2020. This price was achieved in the auction Swiss Made UNLOCKED at Sothebys in Zurich and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of CHF 3,000.00 many times over. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Fred Sandback achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Broadway Boogie Woogie (Sculptural Study, Twenty-two part Vertical Construction) in May 2015 with an auction result of USD 545,000.00 (€ 495,724.94).

Die Arbeit Untitled, 1987 von Fred Sandback war einem Käufer im Juni 2020 CHF 30.000,00 (€ 28.215,65) wert. Dieser Preise wurde in der Auktion Swiss Made UNLOCKED bei Sothebys in Zürich erzielt und übertraf den zuvor angesetzten oberen Schätzpreis von CHF 3.000,00 um ein Vielfaches. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Fred Sandback erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Broadway Boogie Woogie (Sculptural Study, Twenty-two part Vertical Construction) im Mai 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 545.000,00 (€ 495.724,94).
