The result of GBP 1,200.00 (€ 1,758.84) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 1,200.00 – 1,800.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Franz Priking - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Still life of fruit on a table, which sold at auction in March 2007 for USD 5,760.00 (€ 4,306.86).

Die Arbeit Still life of a bottle, pot and flowers von Franz Priking kam im Januar 2006 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von GBP 1.200,00 (€ 1.758,84) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 1.200,00 – 1.800,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Franz Priking mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Still life of fruit on a table beobachtet, die im März 2007 für USD 5.760,00 (€ 4.306,86) versteigert wurde.
