This artwork by Franz Priking achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Paris in June 2006. In the Intérieurs auction, the work Bateau sur cales sold for EUR 2,040.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 900.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Franz Priking - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Still life of fruit on a table, which sold at auction in March 2007 for USD 5,760.00 (€ 4,306.86).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Franz Priking erzielte im Juni 2006 bei Christies in Paris einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Intérieurs wurde die Arbeit Bateau sur cales für EUR 2.040,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 900,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Franz Priking mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Still life of fruit on a table beobachtet, die im März 2007 für USD 5.760,00 (€ 4.306,86) versteigert wurde.
