Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Il cane spaventato by Franz Borghese was sold in the ARTE MODERNA E CONTEMPORANEA auction at Christies in Milan in May 2002. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 2,000.00 – 3,000.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 2,232.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Franz Borghese have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Personaggi in November 2005 with an auction result of EUR 10,540.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Il cane spaventato von Franz Borghese wurde im Mai 2002 in der Auktion ARTE MODERNA E CONTEMPORANEA bei Christies in Mailand versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 2.232,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Franz Borghese auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Personaggi im November 2005 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 10.540,00.
