Admittedly, works by Franz Borghese have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Personaggi in November 2005 with an auction result of EUR 10,540.00.

Die Arbeit L'inseguimento von Franz Borghese kam im Dezember 2020 bei Il Ponte zur Auktion. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von EUR 1.500,00 entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 1.500,00 – 2.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Franz Borghese auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Personaggi im November 2005 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 10.540,00.
