The work L'erede di Esculapio by Franz Borghese was sold in the Moderrn and Contemporary Art auction at Il Ponte in May 2013. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 3,200.00 60% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Franz Borghese - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Personaggi, which sold at auction in November 2005 for EUR 10,540.00.

Die Arbeit L'erede di Esculapio von Franz Borghese wurde im Mai 2013 in der Auktion Moderrn and Contemporary Art bei Il Ponte versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 3.200,00 und damit 60% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Franz Borghese mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Personaggi beobachtet, die im November 2005 für EUR 10.540,00 versteigert wurde.
