Admittedly, works by Franz Borghese have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Personaggi in November 2005 with an auction result of EUR 10,540.00.

Die Arbeit Jack lo squartatore von Franz Borghese wurde im Mai 2013 in der Auktion Moderrn and Contemporary Art bei Il Ponte versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 2.400,00 und damit 60% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Franz Borghese auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Personaggi im November 2005 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 10.540,00.
