Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Frank Moss Bennett achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bonhams in London in March last year. In the British and European Art auction, the work Watching the day go by sold for GBP 2,805.00 (€ 3,325.64) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 1,200.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Frank Moss Bennett achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The King'S Arms in June 2001 with an auction result of GBP 75,250.00 (€ 125,005.22).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Frank Moss Bennett erzielte im März letzten Jahres bei Bonhams in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion British and European Art wurde die Arbeit Watching the day go by für GBP 2.805,00 (€ 3.325,64) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 1.200,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Frank Moss Bennett erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The King'S Arms im Juni 2001 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 75.250,00 (€ 125.005,22).
