The work The new flagship by Frank Moss Bennett was auctioned at Bonhams in London in November last year. It achieved a price of GBP 10,837.50 (€ 12,558.19), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 55%. Admittedly, works by Frank Moss Bennett have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The King'S Arms in June 2001 with an auction result of GBP 75,250.00 (€ 125,005.22).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 55 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit The new flagship von Frank Moss Bennett kam im November letzten Jahres bei Bonhams in London zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 10.837,50 (€ 12.558,19) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 55%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Frank Moss Bennett auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The King'S Arms im Juni 2001 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 75.250,00 (€ 125.005,22).
