Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In November last year Bonhams in London held the auction British and European Art, which included the work The doctor's joke by Frank Moss Bennett. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 1,500.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 1,657.50 (€ 1,920.66). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Frank Moss Bennett achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The King'S Arms in June 2001 with an auction result of GBP 75,250.00 (€ 125,005.22).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im November letzten Jahres führte Bonhams in London die Auktion British and European Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit The doctor's joke von Frank Moss Bennett zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 1.500,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 1.657,50 (€ 1.920,66) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Frank Moss Bennett erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The King'S Arms im Juni 2001 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 75.250,00 (€ 125.005,22).
