Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work The Sense of Smell by François Ryckhals was auctioned at Christies in Amsterdam in November 2006. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 3,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 3,360.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by François Ryckhals - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Intérieur d'étable, which sold at auction in June 2004 for EUR 9,400.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit The Sense of Smell von François Ryckhals kam im November 2006 bei Christies in Amsterdam zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 3.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 3.360,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von François Ryckhals mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Intérieur d'étable beobachtet, die im Juni 2004 für EUR 9.400,00 versteigert wurde.
