Auction result misses estimated price range
In September 2005 a collector was able to acquire the work A river landscape with a shepherd, his family and flock by François Ryckhals for GBP 360.00 (€ 528.33). This price was achieved in the auction Old Master Pictures at Christies in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 600.00 – 800.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by François Ryckhals achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Intérieur d'étable in June 2004 with an auction result of EUR 9,400.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im September 2005 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit A river landscape with a shepherd, his family and flock von François Ryckhals für GBP 360,00 (€ 528,33) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Old Master Pictures bei Christies in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 600,00 – 800,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von François Ryckhals erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Intérieur d'étable im Juni 2004 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 9.400,00.
