In July 2018 Christies in London held the auction Old Master & British Drawings & Watercolours, which included the work A forest border with a woman milking a cow by François Ryckhals. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 7,500.00 (€ 8,409.15), 50% above the upper estimate. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by François Ryckhals; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Intérieur d'étable sold at auction in June 2004 with the realized price of EUR 9,400.00.

Im Juli 2018 führte Christies in London die Auktion Old Master & British Drawings & Watercolours durch, in der auch die Arbeit A forest border with a woman milking a cow von François Ryckhals zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 7.500,00 (€ 8.409,15) und damit 50% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von François Ryckhals; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Intérieur d'étable im Juni 2004 mit dem Hammerpreis von EUR 9.400,00.
