This artwork by François Pompon achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Paris in March 2016. In the Art Impressionniste & Moderne auction, the work Goret, Second État sold for EUR 107,100.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 60,000.00. Admittedly, works by François Pompon have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Ours Blanc in June 2015 with an auction result of GBP 329,000.00 (€ 463,885.87).

Dieses Kunstwerk von François Pompon erzielte im März 2016 bei Christies in Paris einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Art Impressionniste & Moderne wurde die Arbeit Goret, Second État für EUR 107.100,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 60.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von François Pompon auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Ours Blanc im Juni 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 329.000,00 (€ 463.885,87).
