Auction result well in line with expectations
The work L'Automne Sur Le Clain, Poitou, 1931 by François Kollar was auctioned at Christies in Paris in November 2013. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 3,000.00 – 5,000.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 3,250.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by François Kollar - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work View from the Transporter Bridge, Marseille, which sold at auction in October 2017 for USD 15,000.00 (€ 12,877.75).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit L'Automne Sur Le Clain, Poitou, 1931 von François Kollar kam im November 2013 bei Christies in Paris zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 3.250,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Für andere Arbeiten von François Kollar mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit View from the Transporter Bridge, Marseille beobachtet, die im Oktober 2017 für USD 15.000,00 (€ 12.877,75) versteigert wurde.
