The work Composition, c. 1935 by François Kollar was sold in the Avant-Garde: Photographs from the Shalom Shpilman Collection auction at Christies in London in September 2017. The result of GBP 1,000.00 (€ 1,134.51) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by François Kollar achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work View from the Transporter Bridge, Marseille in October 2017 with an auction result of USD 15,000.00 (€ 12,877.75).

Die Arbeit Composition, c. 1935 von François Kollar wurde im September 2017 in der Auktion Avant-Garde: Photographs from the Shalom Shpilman Collection bei Christies in London versteigert. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von GBP 1.000,00 (€ 1.134,51) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 1.000,00 – 1.500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von François Kollar erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit View from the Transporter Bridge, Marseille im Oktober 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 15.000,00 (€ 12.877,75).
