In June 2000 Christies in London held the auction 20th Century Art, which included the work Aux courses by François Batet. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 2,585.00 (€ 4,097.54), 44% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by François Batet achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Soirée Chez Maxim'S in October 2008 with an auction result of USD 62,500.00 (€ 49,282.45).

Im Juni 2000 führte Christies in London die Auktion 20th Century Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Aux courses von François Batet zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 2.585,00 (€ 4.097,54) und damit 44% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von François Batet erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Soirée Chez Maxim'S im Oktober 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 62.500,00 (€ 49.282,45).
