Auction result misses estimated price range
In January 2006 a collector was able to acquire the work Sur fond rouge by François Batet for EUR 240.00. This price was achieved in the auction Pictures, Watercolours and Drawings at Christies in Amsterdam and was even below the estimate range of EUR 1,000.00 – 1,500.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by François Batet achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Soirée Chez Maxim'S in October 2008 with an auction result of USD 62,500.00 (€ 49,282.45).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Januar 2006 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Sur fond rouge von François Batet für EUR 240,00 erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Pictures, Watercolours and Drawings bei Christies in Amsterdam erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 1.000,00 – 1.500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von François Batet erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Soirée Chez Maxim'S im Oktober 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 62.500,00 (€ 49.282,45).
