This artwork by Franco Francese achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Milan in May 2007. In the Post-War and Contemporary Art auction, the work Imbarco sold for EUR 4,960.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 2,500.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Franco Francese; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Imbarco K1670 sold at auction in November 2006 with the realized price of EUR 7,688.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 98 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Franco Francese erzielte im Mai 2007 bei Christies in Mailand einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Post-War and Contemporary Art wurde die Arbeit Imbarco für EUR 4.960,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 2.500,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Franco Francese; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Imbarco K1670 im November 2006 mit dem Hammerpreis von EUR 7.688,00.
