This artwork by Franco Francese achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Milan in November 2006. In the Post war and Contemporary Art auction, the work Imbarco K1593 sold for EUR 4,712.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 2,500.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Franco Francese; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Imbarco K1670 sold at auction in November 2006 with the realized price of EUR 7,688.00.

In der Auktion Post war and Contemporary Art wurde die Arbeit Imbarco K1593 für EUR 4.712,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 2.500,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Franco Francese; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Imbarco K1670 im November 2006 mit dem Hammerpreis von EUR 7.688,00.
